Performance of Acrylic Distemper critically depends on surface preparation and application as outlined below:
Ensure that all dust, dirt and foreign matter are scraped and brushed away. Also ensure the surfaces are free from salts, oil, grease and ridges. For better result apply two coats of Arosuns Wall Carshima Wall Putty followed by Arosuns Water Primer (Primx) then Acrylic Distemper.

Before applying to old surfaces, ensure the substrate is firm. First wash down the surface with asugar soap solution, rinse and allow to dry before repairing n applying the primer.
New plaster surfaces to be painted should be allowed to mature at least for a period of six months.Remove loose matter at least for a period of six months. Remove loose particles on plaster and rub
lightly with sandpaper. Previous coatings of lime wash, colour wash and powder distemper must be scraped off. In case of repainting, earlier coating of oil-bound distemper or emulsion based paints need not removed if in sound condition.
